two PLano Unlimited Gymnasts rocked the house at the Level 8 State championships held this past weekend in Plano, TX
Plano, TX, April 09, 2008; Plano Unlimited Sports Academy sent four gymnasts to this past weekend’s Level 8 State Championships held this past weekend at Infinite Bounds in Plano. Two out of the four qualified to Regional Championships which will be held April 26th at the Plano Center.
According to Coach Helen Verucchi, “This meet was fiercely competitive.” Gymnasts Natalie Alkire, Brianna McCant, Skylar Shepperd, and Peyton Travis all competed for Plano Unlimited. Skylar Shepperd of Murphy earned her way to Regionals with solid performances on vault, beam and floor. Peyton Travis of Dallas ‘rocked the house’ with strong performances across the board – taking home the All-Around Silver Medal (Missing All-Around 1st Place by 25 hundreds of a point), and earning the coveted State Gold Medal on the Vault.
Plano Unlimited Sports Academy is a USAG Club Member,
